Rykie — Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

The short version

Premium can be tried for free before you buy it, so a purchase is refunded when premium has not been used, or when something went wrong with the payment. A double charge, or premium that never switched on, is always put right.

1. Bought on the website or web app (through Paddle)

2. Bought on Android (through Google Play)

Google Play handles those payments and their refunds under its own refund policy. Ask for a refund in Google Play, from your order history. If a purchase did not work, write to us as well and we will help.

3. Cancelling is not the same as a refund

Cancelling stops a monthly plan from renewing. It does not refund the period you already paid for, which stays active until it ends. The 6-month and yearly passes never renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Right after buying one you will get an email from Paddle saying the subscription will be canceled at the end of the period: that is expected, it is what makes a pass non-renewing, and it does not change anything about refunds.

4. Your legal rights

Nothing here takes away rights you have by law. If you live in the EU or the UK you have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, which ends once you start using premium after agreeing at checkout to have it straight away (see Paddle's buyer terms). This policy gives the same: a refund within 14 days while premium is unused.
